Packaging:
The Le Petit Tresor set comes in an adorable little gift box. Inside is a mini robin's egg blue glitter-covered pouch. The bag is nicely made with a tiny gold Eiffel tower zipper pendant. The glittered fabric feels super fabulous and festive but it does shed a little. The three full-sized La Creme Lipsticks come bundled with pink tissue papers but they don't include their individual boxes, which would have been nice if you wanted to gift any of the shades to other people.
The La Creme Lipsticks come in matte gold metal tubes. The lipsticks have a nice weight to them and the simple design feels very luxurious.
Formulation:
The three shades included in the set are Nude Beach, Wham!, and Taffy. Both Nude Beach and Taffy are pre-existing shades and I believe Wham! is a new shade exclusive to this set.
The Too Faced La Cremes have a super buttery and melty formulation that's both nourishing and moisturizing. The wear is slightly lacking as the colors don't cling well to the lips.
Nude Beach: A soft creamy nude peach, Nude Beach is decently pigmented but the formulation does accentuate fine lines and rough patches on the lips.
Wham!: This is an incredible translucent dark berry packed with blue, red, and purple micro-sparkles. This pigmentation is semi-sheer but very buildable and the finish has a gorgeous shine.
Taffy: This is a pale warm baby pink. Interestingly, the color is very similar to Nude Beach, only a tad pinker and sheerer.
Overall:
This is an adorable set with an amazing value. The packaging is just darling and the formulation for all three Le Cremes is great. My only criticism is the inclusion of both Taffy and Nude Beach; the two look so similar that when worn on the lips, it's pretty hard to tell them apart.
