For Fall 2015, Benefit has a new product called the Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer ($38 CAD). With a SPF of 20 and a lightly pigmented formulation, Air Patrol promises to prime, prep, and hydrate the eye area. To see some swatches and how well it works, click.......

The Air Patrol primer comes in an adorable click pen with a silver lid shaped like a little wing. The product dispenses when the base is twisted and it comes out of a squishy rubbery spout applicator. The only downside with the applicator is that it tends to get caked with the primer so I usually clean it with an alcohol wipe after every few uses.

With SPF 20, the Air Patrol BB Cream has a hydrating but fairly thin formulation. The coverage is very light but the product smooths fine lines and gently covers up dark circles and spots. The finish is not very tacky so it's not as effective as other eye primers in terms adhering to loose powder shadows. However, this works pretty well if you want a simple, no-fuss light-coverage brightening concealer for the eyes.

Overall:
If you are looking for a high coverage eye concealer that doubles as a tacky eyelid primer, the Air Patrol BB Cream is not it. However, if you want a light coverage, hydrating, and lightweight concealer, then definitely give it a try; I personally really enjoy the comfortable wear and the moisturizing properties.
