Packaging:
The MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation comes in a hefty frosted glass bottle. The product dispenses from a large medicine dropper. I usually prefer a pump dispenser but because the formulation of this is so thin, the dropper actually gives more control while still keeping the product inside sanitary and fresh.

Formulation:
With a medium coverage and an amazing SPF 30 protection, the Waterweight foundation has a super thin formulation that applies very smoothly. The thin texture is not great at masking skin textures (pores and acne scars) but the foundation feels virtually weightless on the face. In fact, this is one of the only foundations I've tried that actually feels nice on the skin, like a lightweight, hydrating, and non-oily serum. The finish is quite dewy so those with oily to combination skin definitely will need to top this with a powder.

I'm normally a NC25 but the NC15 actually looks pretty good on me! As you can see, the finish is definitely dewy so the formulation will be great for dry skin.

Overall:
This is a very unique and innovative foundation with a super lightweight, hydrating, almost serum-like formulation. The foundation is not great at reducing the appearance of pores or acne scars and the dewy texture is not great for oily skin; with that said, if you have dry skin and are looking for some medium coverage, this foundation may be the best one out there!
