Packaging:
The eye color palettes are actually pressed shadows in plastic (non-magnetic) pans. Compacts are sold separately which is not ideal but the value for these shadows is still decent. The pan is divided into a cool geometrical design, very fitting of the City Modern theme.
Metro Modern:
This is a cool tone palette with a gorgeous range of blues and grays. The overall formulation is stunning, read about each shade below:
-Dark gray-brown with a satin finish, this shade is incredibly pigmented and creamy.
-Pale blue satin, this shade has some very subtle sparkles but they are hardly noticeable; the shade is very rich and pigmented.
-Sheer black with a dark blue iridescence; this one is a bit sheer but definitely buildable.
-Dark taupe metallic brown; this one looks a lot more sparkly in the pan but I suspect the top shimmer layer is a just a spray-on. The formulation is super pigmented and rich, very impressive!
City Sophisticate:
This is a warmer palette with some equally gorgeous shades. We have some pretty pinks and two drool-worthy metallics:
-Satin burgundy, the formulation is very creamy, especially for a matte/satin.
-Soft mauve-pink with golden sparkles; the shadow is buttery soft with a nice, opaque coverage.
-Dull metallic silver with bright silver sparkles, this one is super pigmented, the formulation is absolutely top-notch.
-A tarnished gold metallic, the formulation is just as intense and rich as the silver.

These are some really beautiful shadows. Even the matte shades are rich and pigmented. The palette design is also very unique but do keep in mind that the compacts are sold separately. If you are looking for some rich metallics for fall, look no further!
