A lot of very innovative beauty tools made their debut at the London Drugs Fall Beauty preview event this year and the Tweezerman Grip & Snip Spiral Spring Cuticle Nipper ($25 USD) is definitely the standout manicure tool. Instead of a traditional handle, this cuticle trimmer comes with a spiral spring handle that's easy to control and comfortable to hold. So is this tool as functional as it is snazzy? Read on to find out.......

Traditional cuticle clippers come with simple a bar handle but these Tweezerman Grip & Snip Spiral Spring Cuticle Nipper comes with a spiral handle. I noticed that these actually have a traditional handle inside the coil, but the shape of the coil makes the handles a whole lot more ergonomic. The coil fits the entire palm of the hand to give more control. The handle comes in several different shades as well.

The cuticle nipper has very nice stainless steel ultra-sharp blades. The width of the blades is a bit wider than that of the trimmers I've been using for the past several years so I find it a bit clumsier, but I'm getting used to it. The blades are indeed very sharp so you won't ever have any missed spots.
The nipper comes with a soft protective cap to shield the blades, in case you don't want to store it in the plastic case.

Overall:
The design looks funky, but the spiral handle actually works really well. It fits nicely in the hand, thus giving me more control when I am trimming. I do find the blades a bit too wide for my hands, which makes it hard for me to work quickly around the cuticles.

The new Tweezerman Grip & Snip Spiral Spring Cuticle Nipper is coming this fall in stores and online at London Drugs.
