Bronzers are definitely one of the hottest summer beauty products and for summer 2015,
Make Up For Ever released a line of beautiful gel-to-powder bronzers available in both matte and iridescent finishes. Available in six shades catering to fair, medium, and dark skin tones,
Pro Bronze Fusion ($42 CAD) blends seamlessly into the skin to provide a natural sun-kissed glow. To see some swatches, click......
Packaging:
The Pro Bronze Fusion comes in a simple round compact. The lids have a shiny bronze finish but it easily picks up finger smudges, which is quite unfortunate. The powder is pressed into a very cool swirly geometrical design that supposedly aids optimal powder pick-up. The design is simple but intricate at the same time.
Formulation:
As promised, these new Pro Bronze Fusion bronzers are super silky. The powder's texture is very smooth, almost gel-like and it blends very nicely into the skin. "10 M" is a soft matte honey and "15 I" is a cool tone tan with very subtle golden sparkles. Both shades work perfectly for lighter skin tones.
Along with the six shades of Pro Bronze Fusion, Make Up For Ever also released a special kabuki brushed designed to be used with the bronzers. A dense, flat top synthetic brush, the
Pro Fusion Kabuki ($38 CAD) has super soft bristles yet the brush itself has enough stiffness to nicely apply the bronzer. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a cap, which would have made it travel-friendly.
Overall:
These are beautifully formulated bronzers that feature a smooth and pigmented formulation. The powder melts seamlessly into the skin and the design of the powder is also quite unique and pretty. I also really appreciate the fact that half of the shades are matte, perfect for those of us that want a natural, sparkle-free glow.
