Hi everyone, happy hump day! Today I have an interesting face mask called the
Detoxifying & Oxygenating Bubble Mask ($24 CAD) from
Sephora to share with you. Formulated with white tea extract and vitamin E, this mask turns from gel to foam upon contact with air! Sounds cool? Read all about it by clicking......
Packaging:
The Bubble Mask comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The opening of the pump comes with a small tab which keeps it sealed. I'm not certain if the little tab needs to be put back after each use, but I held onto mine just in case.
Formulation:
The Bubble Mask has a lightweight gel texture when it's first dispensed. After the mask gets spread evenly across the face, it slowly foams until all of it becomes bubbles. The foaming action creates a very subtle tingly, almost ticklish sensation. After removal, my face felt pretty nice and supple but I didn't notice a huge difference. The bubbling effect is very cool, but I don't think it did much for my skin. Additionally, the mask has a pleasant tea/floral scent.
Overall:
The bubbling effect of this mask is definitely very cool. I like the scent and the mild tingling sensation it provides, but the result was not extraordinary.
