Earlier this year, I featured a few products from the new Canadian
Saint Cosmetics range. I really enjoyed some of their products so today I am back to share with a couple of gorgeous lip colors and a powder blush. To see some swatches, click......
Saint Cosmetics Blush in "Love Me for Eternity" ($29 CAD):
A gorgeous shimmery warm bronze, "Love Me for Eternity" may be one of the most pigmented blushes I've ever tried. One swipe gives an almost opaque streak of color packed with metallic shimmers so a little goes a long, long way. The packaging is really neat too. The gold and white looks very classy and I love the clicky sound the compact makes when I press it shut.
Saint Lipsticks ($22 CAD) in "Eternally Yours, Fuschia" & "Lavender on a Prayer":
After trying the frosty "
Angel Kiss", I wasn't too impressed with the Saint lipstick formulation. However, I was pleasantly surprised by these two shades. The lipsticks come in very simple white and gold tubes, they even have a cute halo printed on the caps.
The two colors vary quite a bit in terms of formulation. "
Eternally Yours, Fuschia" is a bright hot pink with a subtle frost finish. The color is semi-sheer but buildable. Compared to "
Angel Kiss", this shade is much more moisturizing but it could still be a bit more hydrating.
"
Lavender on a Prayer", on the other hand, is a gorgeous rich mauve rose. This is definitely one of my favorite "my lips but better" shades. This color is more pigmented than "Eternally Yours, Fuschia" and the color feels very hydrating on the lips as well.
Overall:
Love, love, love! The bronze metallic blush is so rich and pigmented and the color is certainly very unique. The fuschia lip color is a tad too frosty for my liking, but the rose mauve is definitely my new favorite everyday color!
