There have been a lot of great summer nail collections this year but we have yet to see a bright neon collection so the new Quo by Orly Summer 2015 ($10 CAD each) range comes at the perfect time. This four-piece collection includes four retina-searing neons, to see some swatches, click......
Jawbreaker:
This is a super bright neon orange. The color is so neon that I couldn't capture it accurately on camera. Formulation-wise, this shade is thick but pigmented and it dries to a matte finish. Compared to most neons, the formulation is actually pretty amazing. However, the brush of these polishes is horrible, they are all weirdly jagged and thick, a big no-no for me.
Rush:
This is a bright purple cream. The shade isn't bright enough that I would call it a neon, but the finish is still matte. The color is nice and pigmented but the polish doesn't level very well.
Hype:
This is a pretty barbie pink. The color is very pigmented but the polish has a slightly thick consistency. Again, formulation-wise, this is really good for a neon but paired with the jagged brush, the application is a tad troublesome.
Adrenaline:
A lime yellow, this is another true neon. The formulation is a bit sheer compared to the other shades so I had to use three coats on some of my nails.
Overall:
This is a quintessential summer collection. The formulation of these shades are all pretty decent but the brushes these came with are no good! The finish is matte and the colors aren't self-leveling so a top coat is a must in my opinion.

The new Quo by Orly Summer 2015 Collection is available starting June at Shoppers Drug Mart.
