Have you ever come across a makeup product so beautiful that you just couldn't bring yourself to use it as to avoid ruining its exquisite design? Well, today I have one of those products to share with you and it's the limited edition Burberry Rain or Shine Blush Highlighter Runway Palette ($80 CAD) for Spring/Summer 2015. Pressed with the most adorable, almost cartoonish "rain or shine" design, this cheek palette gives the complexion a soft flush, perfect for spring and summer. Packaging:
The Spring/Summer 2015 Runway Palette comes in a sleek gunmetal compact etched with the classic tartan pattern. The box of this palette comes with a plastic translucent sleeve printed with the "rain or shine" design, which I think adds a really nice touch.
The palette comes with a mini angled powder brush and a velvety dust bag that includes a separate pocket for the brush.

Formulation:
This palette consists of two main colors: a pale peachy cream (the rain cloud) and a very soft rosy pink with barely-there silver sparkles (the background). The "rain or shine" letters only has a thin layer of shimmer sprayed onto them. After the first or second use, they pretty much fade away.
The texture is finely milled and the formulation is soft and pigmented, although the color of the two shades combined is very pale. I like the color and I understand that it is designed to be used as a blush and a highlighter, but I still wish it was slightly darker so it would show up more intensely on my skin tone.

Overall:

This is no doubt one of the most beautiful palettes in my collection. The design is absolutely superb. The product itself is finely-milled, soft and smooth. However, the color of the blush is a bit too pale for my liking. If it was just a tad bit darker, it would be the perfect blush.
