Hey guys, happy Friday! As I slowly prepare a tiramisu for this Mother's Day, I want to share with you some more gift ideas if you are planning on pampering mom with some beauty goodies. Before we delve into the products, I just want to point out the cute little indicator the Ours products have on the side of their labels that tells you how much product is left in the bottles. "Full house" or "empty nest"? So cute!
3-in-1 Hydrating Oil ($14.99 CAD):
Made with oils from sunflower seed, coonut, olive, lavender, sesame, camellia, and avocado, this is a luxurious beauty oil suitable for body, face, and hair. The oil feels super silky on the skin and it's reasonably quick-drying with no thick, greasy residue. The product is housed in a large plastic bottle with a press-to-open spout. I prefer this type of dispenser much more than the pump kind as it is easier to control how much oil gets poured out. The cap still gets a little messy though.
Everybody Lotion ($11.99 CAD):
A gentle lotion for all skin type, the Everybody Lotion is made with coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, camellia, cucumer, apple, pear, and all types of amazing fruit extracts imaginable. With a subtle fruity scent, this lotion is incredibly lightweight. However, I noticed that the formulation does require a lot of rubbing to even out. Once the lotion absorbs though, it's very nourishing and hydrating.
Face & Body Exfoliator ($11.99 CAD):
Full of shea butter, coconut butter, aloe, and cucumber, this Face & Body Exfoliator sticks to Ours's philosophy and is made with eco-friendly jojoba beads (not microbeads). The formulation is non-foaming, almost cream-like, and it's very gentle and nourishing. In fact, this scrub can be left on the skin for ten or so minutes as a mask for an even deeper treatment. The jojoba beads are quite sparse so the product is very gentle, perfect for sensitive skin. I personally don't find the formulation scrubby enough so I like it better for the face.
