The Meteorite Rainbow Pearls come in an exquisite plastic-lined metal tin. The white tin features fish scale-like details along its sides and the beautiful lid has a reflective golden finish (versus the silver finish of the original Pearls). The product comes with a large powder puff. Again the puff doesn't have a ribbon handle, something I've always wished that Guerlain would add to the design for easy handling. The tin comes with two layers of pearl powders, totaling 25g. The pearls come in an assortment of sizes.

The lightly-fragrant pearls come in white, champagne, brick brown, red, yellow, and pale green. Although brightly colored, the product becomes very translucent when applied on the face. The Meteorite Pearls is not a blush nor a highlighter, it's an all-over illuminating powder that gives the face a very subtle, natural glow (click on the image below to enlarge, notice the miniscule sparkles it adds to the skin). The texture is finely-milled and silky.

This is no doubt a collectible, luxury product from Guerlain. The powder gives a super subtle glow to the face. It's not something you need in your routine, but it's certainly a very nice and precious thing to have.
