Packaging:
The undereye gels come in sealed plastic holders inside a resealable plastic packet. The gels have a stiff jelly-like consistency, similar to the feel of gel insoles you would put in your shoes. They are shaped for placement under the eyes. The instructions say these are usable up to ten times.
Formulation & Effectiveness:
So after taking the gels out of the packaging, you simply press the flatter side under the eyes (clean, dry skin) for them to adhere. Leave on for around five minutes and the serum within the patches will diffuse out and onto the skin. The gels indeed feel cooling and I do think they help reduce puffiness. The serum that it releases isn't quite enough for all night/day moisturization so I do pair it with a eye cream before bed. I've used it only a couple of times now so I can't say for sure if it will last ten uses. But I certainly noticed that the gels are less moist the second time I used them. The gels can also be refridged to provide some extra depuffing action.
Overall:
I like these and I appreciate the fact that they are reusable! The cooling sensation is what I love the most about the gels and the olive leaf extract leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.
