For March, New York Color has challenged us to create a fun manicure look inspired by the Fall 2015 Collection from New York Fashion week. I used to be a big fashion fanatic and followed all the runway seasons but in the recent years I've really fallen behind with the trends. Nevertheless, I browsed some shows from Fall 2015 and noticed that a lot of designers employed a lot of the classic fall colors with a mix of metallic and textures. So I did a simple no-tools-needed mani that features some glitter and some classic fall colors. To see more pictures and the polishes I used, click.......
For this look, I simply coated my nails with a gray creme color called "275 Chinatown". Then I did a strip of red down the middle of the gray using "282 Rivington Red". Finally, I topped the red with a layer of "277 Fashion Queen", a beautiful bronze-gold glitter.
Both the red and gray are quite sheer, but they were opaque with one thin and one thick coat. The glitter is packed with small and micro glitters, super pretty! Additionally, these polishes dry in a flash, which is super convenient.

So what do you think of this look? It's super simple to do and when you have no time to do nail art, the last thing you want is having to work with finicky nail art brushes and stamping tools.
