Hey guys! Happy Thursday! Today I have a few more swatches of the new Revlon Ultra HD Lipsticks ($11.99 CAD) to swatch for y'all. All the shades in this collection are named after flowers and the four I'm featuring today are called "Hydrangea", "Magnolia", "Petunia", and "Geranium". To read more, click.......
Packaging:
The Ultra HD Lipsticks come in simple silver bullets with clear crystal-cut acrylic caps. The lipstick doesn't retract all the way into the tube so it's important to remove the cap carefully or else the color rubs on the side of the cap.
The formulation is incredibly lightweight. The lipsticks glide effortlessly across the lips and leaves behind a natural sheen. Though pigmented, the colors are not completely opaque and I found it easier to apply the bolder colors using a lip liner to achieve cleaner lines.
The lipsticks are extremely comfortable and moisturizing but the wear is not spectacular. The gel-based formulation, though lightweight, does not cling to the lips like wax-based lipsticks do. Thus the color is prone to smudging and transferring but the darker colors do stain to leave behind a nice stain.
Hydrangea: This is a strawberry pink with subtle silver sparkles.

These are lightweight and pigmented. Formulation-wise, these are very similar to the Color Whispers from Maybelline (reviewed here). Moisturizing and comfortable on the lips, the formulation lacks longevity but they do leave lips nicely tinted.
