Halloween would not be complete without some festive and spooky nail polishes so today I wanted to share with you a couple of fun bar glitter top coats from Sally Hansen. The limited edition Halloween Fuzzy Coat ($7.95 CAD) nail polishes can be used alone or over a base color, check out some close-ups, click......
Witch-ful Thinking:
This is a matte black and pastel orange bar glitter suspended in a clear base. There are a good amount of glitter so you don't need to fish for any and each coat guarantees an even covering. I paired two coats of it with a nice forest green creme.

This one is a black and pastel green bar glitter combo. The formulation is even more packed with glitter compared to Witch-ful Thinking (probably just a manufacturing variation), so I only used one coat over a pumpkin orange. The drying time is decent.

Formulation-wise, these are superb. However, I don't love the color combinations. I really wished that the green and orange glitters were brighter (more intense, not so pastel) and I wish the black was replaced by white so that it can be worn over a black base. Technically speaking, both of these would be lovely over a white base but we all know how much of a pain those are to apply nicely.
