Thus, I came up with what I call the "purple fairy" makeup. I originally intended to do a snow queen look because the frosted tip of these lashes reminds me of snow. However, the eye makeup ended up too purple so I decided to scratch the idea.

Here are the three pairs of Ardell Bat Those Lashes lashes I want to show you guys. I believe these are new styles but the Bat Those Lashes collection has a great selection of Halloween lashes so you will for sure find a pair that matches your costume! For my look, I pretty much just went purple-crazy. Here is what I used:
A close-up of my purple fairy look. |
Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette (reviewed here)
Kat Von D Ink Liner (reviewed here)
L.A Girl Gel Glide Eyeliner in "Whiten" (reviewed here)
Lise Watier Aurora Liquid Eye Liner (reviewed here)
Ardell Bat Those Lashes with Ardell Lash Glue (upper lashes)
Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes in "Sultry"
Cheeks:
The Balm Instain Blush in "Pinstripe" (reviewed here)
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer (reviewed here)
Lips:
Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in "Plum" (reviewed here)
Anna Sui Lip Stick M in "770" (reviewed here)
L.A Girl Gel Glide Eyeliner in "Gypsy Teal" (reviewed here)
The lashes are really quite giant (and thus tricky to apply) for my small eyes but they aren't too uncomfortable. I did need to go in with my lash curler to fix the shape of a few sections because they started to droop. Other than that, theses lashes are quite fabulous!
So what do you guys think of my "purple fairy" makeup? Are you dressing up this year? What/who are you going as? Let me know in the comments below, thanks for popping by!
P.S. I am giving away all three pairs of these lashes including several other awesome Halloween must-haves (open to Canadian residents only), enter here!
