Packaging:
As expected from Marc Jacobs, the mini palette comes in a gorgeous storage pouch with a travel-sized sponge tip applicator. The palette itself is made of a shiny and sleek black plastic. The palette opens up with a click of silver button at the side the palette. All three shadows are "cleverly sized to suit your eye shadow needs" (total of 4g).
Pigmentation & Formulation:
"The Rebel" palette contains three different shades:
- Warm ivory satin: Super pigmented and rich, this is a perfect all over the lid or highlight color.
- Deep hot pink satin: Who doesn't like a hot pink? This one is a bright bright magenta with a satin-y finish.
- Semi-matte dark greyish purple: Although described a matte, this deep plum grey actually has a satin-y finish. The pigmentation is decent and the color blends nicely.
There are ten color trios to select from and "The Rebel", though certainly isn't the most easy-to-wear trio, is still very pigmented and rich. I am not big on eye makeup so I think a petite trio palette like this is perfect for travel!
