The Palette comes in the sleek, classic lancome compact, the same ones used for the its blush palettes. Two of the five colors come in large rectangular pans and the other three come in very thin strip pans, which are a bit hard to get to. The palette includes a small brush (the quality is actually not bad) and a double-ended sponge applicator. There is also a large mirror on the underside of the lid.
Honestly, Lancôme powder products never ceases to impress. Each of the five colors are rich, creamy and beautifully pigmented. There are two shades of green, one is a muddy green gold and another is a subdued gold with just a tinge of green. There are also two shades of purple: one a more classic amethyst and the other is so plummy it almost comes off a little brownish. There is also a light silver highlight. All five shades are shimmery.
Overall:
The formulation and packaging of this palette is superb, as with pretty much all Lancôme products. The color selection of the palette is very fall and holiday appropriate but I do which the palette included at least one matte shade to allow some variation in finishes and work as a blending color.
