Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Daily Eye Roller in "Fair/Light": Review and Swatches

Not too long ago, Garnier released a special BB Cream designed particularly for the eye area that targets dark circles and puffiness all in one simple step. I've been testing out the BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roller ($19.99 CAD) for a couple weeks now and want to share with you my thoughts. To read more, click.......

Packaging:

The Garnier BB Eye comes in a small (about the size of a lip balm tube) squeezable tube with a roller ball applicator. To apply the product, simply roll the roller ball across the under eye area while applying some pressure on the tube. I sometimes find that I need to squeeze really hard for a decent amount of product to come out.

Formulation & Result:

The BB Eye has a very thin, liquid formulation and it's lightly tinted to help cover up dark spots and eye bags. I find the pigmentation to be a bit too sheer; if you have serious under eye discoloration, this product is not going to replace a concealer. Also, because the formulation was a bit thin, it required a bit more bending to prevent creasing and patchiness. However, the product does feel very nice and cooling under the eyes and it helps slightly reduce the appearance of any puffiness. 

Overall:

I like the idea of a two in one concealer/eye roller but I definitely wish the product is just a bit more pigmented and viscous so it can cover up and cling to the skin better. Overall though, I think this is a lovely pick me up for those of us that experience mild puffiness in the morning but not serious under eye discoloration.
