Girly Bits 80's Girl Bands Collection Nail Polish in "Bette Davis Eyes", "Man Size Love", "I'm Your Venus" & "Walk Like An Egyptian": Review and Swatches

For Summer 2014, Girly Bits (my personal favorite indie polish store, also proudly Canadian) has released a ten polish collection inspired by songs from 80's Girl Bands. Yesterday was ridiculously sunny in Vancouver so I had a chance to capture some good pictures of four of the holographic shades from the 80's Girl Bands Collection, so to see some pictures and my review, click......
Bette Davis Eyes ($11.50 CAD):
"Silver white fine texture with sparks of silver holo plus blue and pink shimmer."
For this shade, I didn't quite manage to capture the holo effect as well as I had hoped, in other words, this looks even more amazing in person!
Bette Davis Eyes is a whitish silver holo and it has some crazy dimensions.  There is also a very subtle purple/blue sheen. The finish is a bit textured so a top coat could be used to smooth out the grittiness.
Formulation is amazing and it is surprisingly opaque given how light the color is!

Man Size Love ($11.50 CAD):
"A deep periwinkle blue shimmolo (blue shimmer, holo sparks accented with turquoise and aqua micro glitter)."
My personal favorite out of the four, Man Size Love is the most beautiful purple-ish blue polish I have ever laid eyes on. The holographic effect is ridiculously strong under the sun and I love the addition of the aqua colored micro glitters because they provide even more dimension to the polish.
The formulation is superb, a easy two coater.

I'm Your Venus ($11.50 CAD):
"Metallic copper shimmolo (copper shimmer and sparks of gold holo)."
I'm Your Venus is another beauty. Although it technically is a metallic copper, it looks rather rose gold under the sun, especially with the strong holo effect going on. The formulation is smooth and opaque, I used two coats.

Walk Like An Egyptian ($11.50):
"Metallic golden bronze shimmolo (bronze holographic with sparks of gold holo)."
This one is a gorgeous cool-tone gold counterpart of I'm Your Venus. The holographic effect is also super strong and the formulation is just dreamy. The polish applies very opaque despite it being a pale gold and only two coats were need for full opacity.

Overall:

It has been quite a while since I played with holographic polishes and these four gorgeous shades have made me completely in love once again. The formulation of all four is simply superb and the linear holo effect is top-notch. If you love holos, you need these in your collection!
