For those of you that love Korean hair and body care products, Memebox has released a new Hair & Body Special Edition Box ($23 plus ~$7 shipping) filled with goodies that will help nourish your hair and pamper your skin. To see what's in the box, click.......
Rosapacific 19 Real Neck Sheet ($3.5 per sheet):
This is an amazing "neck mask" made from fermented coconut juice. It feels like a very dense piece of gel infused with a soothing moisturizer. To use it, simply place the sheet on your neck and remove after 15-20 minutes. Because the mask is moist, it adheres to the skin and will not fall off the neck. The skin around my neck felt so soft and conditioned after using the mask! I really love this product!
Here is a photo of me wearing the neck sheet. Apologies for the fuzzy phone picture, I was too lazy to lug out my big camera.
Full Size: 1004 Laboratory Kiss the Perfume Brilliant Hair Treatment ($49 for 300g):
Made from four natural oils and twenty types of vegetable extract, this hair treatment not only replenishes hair but also leaves the hair with a delightful scent. I gave this a go and to me this product feels like an ordinary conditioner. It had a pleasant floral scent and left the hair feeling soft and nourished but the $49 price tag seems a bit far fetched.
Annagaspi Brilliant Body Design Patch ($17 for four patches):
Described as a "hydro-gel" patch, these Brilliant Body Design Patches help reshape and firm up swollen legs and feet, but it can also be used on other problem areas of the body. I gave this a try on my stomach and it gives a very strong tingly sensation to the skin that wears off in about an hour. The patch is soft and squishy and adheres to the skin very well. In terms of its effectiveness, though, I don't have much to say because this is definitely one of those products that you have to use for at least a few months before you can see results.
SD Hair Steam Pack ($21 each):
This is another very interesting product from the box. It is basically a disposable shower cap filled with hair conditioner. The idea is to put this on in the shower after shampooing the hair. I gave it a try and really liked the idea. However, there definitely was not enough conditioner in the cap to cover most of my hair so it ended up doing an ok job.
Kocostar Nail Therapy ($15 for three packs):
Now this is another super innovative product. Each Nail Therapy pack comes with five finger gloves filled with a moisturizing mixture of vitamins and botanical extracts that you put on your fingers. The product helps strengthen nails and help prevent peeling and breaking.
Here is the Nail Therapy at work:
Sample Size: Zivon Plu Scrub Oriental Jin + ($25 for 200g):
This is a body scrub infused with ginseng, olive, macadamia, and argan oil. It promises to exfoliate away dead skin cells and moisturize the skin. I have yet to give this a try because my shower stall is overflown with body scrubs but it looks very promising!
Full Size: EVAS Rose Mine Perfume Touch ($17 for 13g):
This is a gel perfume, something I have never heard of before. The product dispenses from a pointed spout and you simply apply the gel where you would normally spray your perfume. I received the "Fresh Green Tea" scent and it has a very lovely matcha smell mixed in with some subtle florals. Also, the gel has very fine shimmers in it so it will make your skin gleam under the light! Amazing product, definitely one of my faves!
Golden Glove Exfoliating Gloves ($16 per pair):
If you been reading my blog for a while you know I love exfoliating my skin. Whether it be a loofah, a shower pouf, or a sponge, I cannot get enough of exfoliating products! These Golden Gloves can be worn in the shower to apply your favorite body wash. As it cleanses the skin, it also gets rid of dead skins cells. I used these a couple of times now and really, really love them. They are more convenient that sponges or loofahs because they can be worn right on your hands. The texture isn't too rough or too soft, I feel like it's perfect for an every day scrub.
Overall:
To be honest, when I first received the box, I wasn't all that thrilled because body and hair products can be bland and boring, but this Memebox has seriously introduced me to an amazing body/hair innovations! I am completely in love with the neck sheets, the nail therapy, the gel perfume, and the exfoliating gloves! I cannot wait to see what's to come in the next Hair & Body Memebox (order yours now using my affiliate link and you can get $3 off of your box, first time customers get an automatic $10 off), it's going to sell out fast)! And in case you were wondering, the overall value of the box was well over $130, not bad for $23 plus shipping!
