Lise Watier Fall 2014 Collection: Review and Swatches

I know what you are thinking, I know, I know! Yes, summer just got here but ever since I got my hands on these Lise Watier Fall 2014 releases at the London Drugs Fall Beauty Preview event last Thursday, I just cannot wait to give y'all a sneakpeak of the amazing products to come!

Quatuor Féline Eyeshadow Quartet Eyeshadow Palette ($36 CAD):

This eyeshadow quad is no question the star of the collection. Not only does it have an adorable leopard patterned packaging, the quality of the shadows is just phenomenal. Dare I say these are the best shadows I have ever tried?

The palette comes with four neutral fall shades. The champagne and the light pink has an iridescent finish and the taupe and brown has a semi-matte/satin finish. The formulation of these powder shadows is incredibly rich and buttery, they feel so so, so luxurious, almost like some heavenly concoction of silk, cream, and pure pigments.

The swatches I have here are done on bare arms and I hardly used any products, the shadows are that pigmented!

Here is a simple look I did using the quad:

Féline Velvet Lip Lacquer in "Rouge" ($23 CAD):
No doubt my favorite item from the bunch, I have already worn this liquid lipstick twice since I got it not even a week ago. The Velvet Lip Lacquer has a very rich creamy texture; it applies very smoothly but dries very quickly to an opaque, matte finish. The color "Rouge" is a very unique shade of muted deep red, totally up my alley.

The packaging matches that of the eyeshadow palette, complete with the rose gold accent and leopard pattern. The applicator is a slightly bent doe-foot that provides a nice coverage.

As you can see, the color is super rich and opaque. Although the formulation sets very quickly, there is no dragging or shifting when you go in to even out the color with a second coat.

The wear is phenomenal, it is completely transfer-proof and will withstand drinking and light eating. The formulation is not very moisturizing so it's important to prep the lips by exfoliating, moisturizing, and blotting off excess oil before applying the product.

Féline Eyeliner HD Liquid Eyeliner in "Brown"($20 CAD):
The black Féline Eyeliner HD liquid eyeliner has been a long time best-seller of Lise Watier and now for fall 2014, there is a brown version of the same product.
The Féline Eyeliner HD has a very long and pointed felt tip which is very easy to manipulate as it is quite flexible and precise.

The tip allows you to achieve either fine or thick lines, depending how much pressure you apply.

The super fine tip also allows you to achieve the perfect winged liner. The formulation is quite long lasting. Although it's not waterproof, it will not budge or smudge.

24Hrs Glam Eyeshadow Pencil in "Disco Glam":
Available in six color shades with finishes that range from semi-matte to iridescent, this new line of eyeshadow pencils has a super smooth formulation that lasts all day.

The formulation and packaging of these are pretty much identical to the Make Up For Ever Aqua Matics I reviewed just a few days ago. The price point is similar as well.
The 24Hrs Glam Eyeshadow Pencil comes in a twist-up pencil with a handy pencil sharpener tucked at the base of the packaging. The pencil not only works as an eyeshadow, it can also be used as an eyeliner or even a shadow base.

The shade "Disco Glam" is a deep, rich purple with light purple micro glitters. The wear of this shade is phenomenal. After the product sets, it will not smudge at all. When I rub on the product really hard, only some glitter flecks will transfer, the base color will not transfer at all.

Overall:
Wow! I am so, so incredibly impressed with this collection. Honestly if I were to make recommendations, I'd say pick up everything! The Féline Velvet Lip Lacquer and the Quatuor Féline Eyeshadow Quartet Eyeshadow Palette are my top favorites but given the fact that I'm not even a big fan of liquid liners or shadow crayons, I still really, really loving both the Féline Eyeliner HD and the 24Hrs Glam Eyeshadow! Two big, big thumbs up, Lise Watier!
