Happy Sunday everyone! Gah I really wish weekends are infinitely long, it's such a bummer to see them go away. Anyways, to help cheer me up, I will share with you a couple of gorgeous matte polishes from L.A. Girl. To see more photos and my review, click.......Alpine Green ($4.00):
A deep matte teal, Alpine Green was a four coater. I know what you are thinking, four coats? That's an awful lot of layers to put on, the formula must be terrible! But surprisingly (or not surprisingly, as you can see from the pictures), this polish was incredibly easy to work with. Despite being a tad sheer, Alpine Green applied smoothly as the formula was very self-leveling. Also, the drying time was so good, it didn't really matter at all that I had to use four coats.

As the name suggests, this one is a simple matte black. This too needed four coats but again the formula was just so easy to work with that the sheerness didn't bother me at all. The finish of both polishes are rather latex like. I mean, they are matte, but they still have some sheen to them which adds a nice dimension to the colors.
