Happy weekend everyone! For those of you that didn't know, I am a very big fan of The Body Shop fragrances. I love that the scents are very simple and clean, and a lot of them are food related scents so they smell super yummy! Back in June, I purchased three fragrances and I am almost finished with the Coconut one.
Today I am reviewing two more scents from The Body Shop, the Pink Grapefruit Body Mist ($12.00) and the Brazil Nut Eau de Toilette Body Fragrance ($14.00). To read more, click.......
Brazil Nut Eau de Toilette Body Fragrance:
At first I really didn't know what to expect from this fragrance since I didn't even know brazil nuts had a scent. But when I smelled the first spritz, I was pleasantly surprised. The Brazil Nut fragrance has a nutty musky scent that's quite reminiscent of the Macademic Hair Oil I reviewed previously. I don't really know how else to describe the scent other than that it's very yummy and very nutty. It's definitely one that you need to smell in person to appreciate. I definitely love it, it's now my second favorite The Body Shop scent after the Coconut Eau de Toilette.
Pink Grapefruit Body Mist:
This one smells very simply of grapefruit. You know that smell you get when you accidentally squirt grapefruit juice on your shirt? This smells exactly like that. Personally I find this a tad too sharp and lacks a bit of sweetness but the fragrance really stands true to its name, it really just smells like grapefruit. The scent is very natural and non-artificial, so if you like the smell of grapefruit then this is the fragrance for you!
The lasting power of both of these scents are quite short but the eau de toilette is a bit stronger initially, so since all the scents are available both as a body mist and an eau de toilette, it is probably more economical to get the body mist instead.
