Happy monday everyone, today I have a few pencil liners from L.A Girl to review and swatch for you. The Gel Glide Eyeliner Pencils ($5.00) from L.A. Girl promises to provide the easy application of a pencil liner but with the pigmentation and lasting power of liquid/gel eyeliner. To see read more, click......
I have here five shades from the line:
Limelight: A fresh lime green with a shimmery metallic finish finish.
Champagne: A gorgeous warm champagne color with a frosty finish.
Dark Brown: A dark chocolate brown with a matte finish.
Gypsy Teal: A dark teal (leaning more blue) with a satin finish and a hint of shimmer.
Whiten: A simple bright white with a satin finish.

I have normal lids (not dry or oily) and the liners wore beautifully for the whole day with minimal smudging. Also, you can definitely create a more dramatic winged look by applying the eyeliner using an angled eyeliner brush.
The only downside is that these did not work very well for my waterline or tight line, though I have yet to find a liner that does. I tried "Whiten" on my waterline and it ended up smudging upon application from the moisture of my eyes.
But overall, the quality and performances of these are quite amazing, especially for the super affordable price!
Wearing "Gypsy Teal" on my upper lash line. |
