Sally Hansen #CSMTKO Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish in "Jaded", "Red My Lips" & "Pat on the Black": Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The following products were provided for review via Influenster.
Hey guys, as always, I hope you are all doing well! Influenster recently sent out some VoxBoxes featuring the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish for its members to try out (sign up here). I am still quite new to Influenster, so I have to admit it is kind of confusing how it works but the basic idea is that the more products you review through the site, the higher your chances of receiving free goodies to test out and review.
So for this VoxBox, everyone who qualified (determined by how involved you are in the Influenster community) received three gorgeous shades of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes, I have swatched and reviewed each shade so if you interested, click.......
"Jaded" is a sheer dusty teal. The sheerness caught me by surprise as the polish looked fairly pigmented in the bottle. I used three full coats for my swatches but as you can see, there are still some areas that need extra coverage.
Not only was the formula sheer, it is also quite runny, which made the application even more frustrating. It is such a shame because "Jaded" is such a beautiful. However, this polish would work well in a "jelly sandwich" manicure.
Aside from the formula, the brush is another flaw. Unlike your ordinary nail polish brush, the Complete Salon Manicure polish brushes are very wide and kind of jagged around the edges (all three colors had the same problem). This made it very difficult to get a clean line around the cuticles. Also the white plastic portion of the brush handle is also very wide and thus collects a lot of polish on itself, making application even messier than it has to be.
Next up is "Red My Lips", the formula for this is very beautiful. The polish is rich but it also has that squishy jelly finish that everyone loves! For my swatches I used two coats. The drying time of all these polishes are very good, and the finish is shiny enough that you really don't need a top coat.

Last up is "Pat on the Black". This one is a very vampy oxblood/burgundy creme. The formula for this is decent, it's very pigmented and smooth though a tad thick and not very self-leveling so I think you definitely need to wait between coats or some dragging will occur like it did with me.
So overall I am on the fence about these polishes. The formulation seems to vary, with "Red My Lips" being the best and "Jaded" being the worst. However, I think my major problem with these polishes is the brush, they are big and clumsy to work with and just aren't for me. I think the intention of the design is so that fewer strokes are needed for a full coverage of the nail but the quality of these wide brushes just don't compare with the ones from OPI or polish brands higher up on the price point.

Do you guys own any Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes? Do you like wide nail polish brushes or normal sized ones? I would be very interested in hearing what you think!
