Hey guys, in preparation for the three new shades from
Rainbow Honey's Sweet Talk Collection, I am reviewing two existing darlings from the Valentine's Day line, "Sweet Talk" and "XOXO", to check out my reviews and more swatches, click......
This crelly (cream and jelly hybrid) polish is filled with pastel colored hexagon glitters of various sizes and it also has a subtle iridescent shimmer. The formula was slightly sheer and not very self-leveling but in hindsight I should have worn it over a white base.
For my swatches, I used almost four coats (I still think it could have benefitted from one more). Despite the sheer formula, the drying time was not too bad and even though I am not a fan of three or four coaters, I really liked this because, well, look how adorable the polish looks on the nails, it reminds me cupcakes and buttercream icing, yum!
XOXO ($10.00 for full sized 15ml bottle):
XOXO is a mish mash of awesome pink, red, gold, and holographic glitters. I paired mine with a hot pink from Julep called "
Niecy". This one had no formulation problems, overall a great glitter topper!
For my swatches I used about one coat. "XOXO" dried very quickly and added some great dimension to the hot pink base.
