Vice 2, like The Vice Palette from last year, holds 20 brand new shadows and a double ended Good Karma eyeshadow brush.
Packaging:
This year's palette has a plastic case with a swirly purple design; it has the same fancy slow-opening mechanism as last year's. Unlike last year's velvety packaging, this year's palette doesn't pick up finger prints and smudges as easily, so that's a plus. I also noticed the shader end of the brush this year is comparably thicker than last year's, with more bristles packed in.
Overall, the palette is very sleek and very beautiful.
Color Selection:
This color has quite a bit of black/brown/nudes. Most are shimmers and only two shadows are matte. The good thing about this palette is that there is no super fall-out glitter shadow, so that's a really big plus!
Formulation:
Instead of reviewing each shadow/blush, I have given each color a rating. (Click on any image to enlarge.)
Smily face = pigmented and creamy.
Sad face = too sheer/fallouts.
Angry faces = horrible pigmentation/patchy.
Love faces =personal favorites.
So overall, this palette is amazing, with the exception of "Prank", "Poison", and "Lovesick", the pigmentation of all the shadows are incredible and that silver foil (Shellshock) is out of this world! So my advice is get this! Even if you know you don't need another palette, you need this! If you aren't sold yet, go to your local Sephora and check it out!
