The formula for this is just a huge dud. The product dried to a very stiff yet tacky matte finish within seconds I put it on my lips, making it impossible to blend properly. When I tried to go in with a little more product to even things out, the previous layer of lipstick shifted and bunched together, making everything super patchy.
The product also felt heavy and very very drying. I decided to combat the dryness by adding a tad bit of lip balm before applying the liquid lipstick and disaster ensued. The Hourglass Rouge refused to adhere to the lip balm and turned patchy and almost flaky, bits of the top lip color completely transferred to the bottom lip!
I have never in my life worked with a lip product so frustrating and this is definitely not the first time I used a liquid lipstick. To me, the formula is extremely flawed and I honest can't believe it has any positive reviews at all! $33CAD for a full size? No thank you! I am so glad I never bought a full size because I would have been even more disappointed!
