I got these wipes a while ago during my trip to Seattle. They were about $6 USD at Target and it is one of the few places you can find these. I have delayed this review for a while for a couple reasons, one I needed to finish other wipes before I opened these and two because I was trying to figure out what they were doing to my skin.
These cleansing wipes are infused with coconut water and are meant to purify, for all skin types. When you first open the package you can smell the coconut, it is not a true coconut scent but has some strange undertones I guess? I found it pleasant at first but as you clean your face with them it starts to get a bit much and it lingers a bit.
The design of the package I think is brilliant. It has a nice plastic cover that really seals it all in and adds extra protection to stop them from drying out. However the product inside isn't as thrilling. The wipes are quite small, about half the size of most wipes I have used that are the same price and count. I also found they were not the best at removing my makeup. I felt like I really needed to rub or go over parts multiple times to get it clean.
The worst bit for me was I did not find it purifying, but in fact I believe it made my skin worse. After using it only a few days, I found way more spots on my face than usual, which I never get many to begin with. I stopped using them, my skin got a bit better. I decided to use them again, and the first two days were okay, but again my skin started to look worse for wear, not as good as it used to be. For some reason my skin reacted funny to them, which is strange since my skin holds up well against most things.
Unfortunately these didn't work for my skin that well and I have no clue how I am gonna finish the package. Hopefully other people may have better luck with these wipes than me. My quest for a great wipe continues still, although I may have luck with another american one. But alas a story for another day and more testing to be done.
Do you use any wipes that are really great at cleansing? I'd love to know :)
