If you are into cupcakes and crave something rich and heavenly, you will love this spin on the more classic peanut butter cupcakes!
Our family often buys jars of almond butter from Costco, because it has a very yummy and nutty flavor and is slightly more spreadable than peanut butter. I made these cupcakes for friends at volunteering a while back and used this peanut butter cupcake recipe except I replaced the peanut butter with almond butter (they turned out just a tad dry so I would probably add a bit of extra milk to make things more moist the next time). I then went with a chocolate frosting to make things even more decadent. The recipe for the frosting can be found here ( I cut down the powdered sugar quite a bit and took out the evaporated milk).
So there you go, thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed this sunday baking post!
