Hi everyone, now before you freak out and think "wait, when did I subscribe to a baking blog", I just want to say that since the beginning of the Blog Every Day In May Challenge, I have really started to enjoy blogging about non-beauty related everyday stuff. So I decided there is no better day than this beautiful sunny Sunday to introduce a new type of post I would like to do from now on: Baking Adventures!
I have always enjoyed baking and thus I would like to share with you great recipes I have found online. Today I bring you........ cinnamon rolls, dun dun dun! To see another delicious picture and the recipe I used, click......
For the longest time I held off on making cinnamon rolls because I have never worked with yeast before (not in the kitchen anyways) and I was super scared that I would mess up. But the whole process was super easy, there was just a lot of waiting around for the dough to rise, but other than that, these babies turned out super delicious!
I followed the recipe from Laura In the Kitchen, the only tip I would give is that the dough more than two hours to rise, so be super patient! In addition, the 1/4 cup of warm water listed in the recipe is not for the yeast, its another separate batch that needs to be added into the dough mixture in addition to the water needed to activate the yeast.
That's all folks, hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post, let me know if you have a favorite cinnamon roll recipe! Thanks for reading!
