So I shall start by giving you a lowdown of the skin around my eyes. I am 20 years old with no wrinkles and no dry skin around the eyes, so technically speaking, I don't really need an eye cream, but I guess it is never too early to start! I have tried a few other eye creams before, most of them being heavy and super rich anti-aging ones I stole from my mom's collection. So I was pleasantly surprised with this one from Kiehl's.
This cream is very, very light and non-greasy. I honestly wouldn't even call this a cream (it is kind of ironic how this is called a "creamy" eye treatment) because it has more of a gel texture. But unlike most gels, this doesn't leave behind any weird or tight feeling when it gets absorbed by the skin.
It feels super airy and cool when applied and the packaging says the cream does not travel so it won't get into your eyes. It doesn't have a noticeable scent. I can't say I have seen a big difference after using this product for a while, but I think that because I don't have much eye area issues (not yet, anyways), I am not really a fair tester for eye creams.
With all of that said, I love this product! I like using it, I like the feel of it, and I like believing that is a protective shield against future wrinkles as I age.
