Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick in Chestnut Chic: Review and Swatch

Quite a while back, a dear friend of mine bestowed upon me this exquisitely-packaged lipstick from Dior Addict for my birthday. I think this is the first official "high-end" lipstick I ever owned so I was pretty stoked. However, I was a little hesitant about this color. From the tube, it looked like a shimmery brown mauve, and I know that browns do not flatter me at all! The Dior Addict High Shine lipstick in "Chestnut Chic" swatches as a sheer warm mauve filled with beautiful silver shimmers; it has a very sophisticated look. The formula is soooo hydrating. It actually looks like a gloss when worn, but it has the comfort of a balm. The only downside is that it isn't very long lasting, but that is kind of expected with "high shine" lip products. Now there is a full color range of these guys that make me tempted for more, but at $31 USD a pop, I am probably going to skip.
