This palette from theBalm is versatile, pigmented, and compact. It comes with 9 shades housed in a sturdy and slim cardboard compact with a mirror on the inside of the lid which is magnetized to stay shut.
Below are the individual shade reviews:Caught In the Act Courtney (sparkle):
This is a dark chocolate brown glitter shade. It is not very creamy and applies a bit patchy, it doesn't give full opaque coverage unless you really pack it on. Also this one gives fall-outs. Not my favorite.
Shameless Shana (metallic):
This shimmery metallic bronze shade is absolutely amazing. It basically applies like a smooth cream shadow, fully opaque in one swipe.
Lucious Lani (shimmer):
A nice shimmery, cool-toned nude that works well as a highlight. Also incredibly buttery and opaque.
Jealous Jordana (subtle shimmer):
Deep, almost black-ish green shimmer. It's nice and pigmented but I wish more of the green would come through.
Risque Renee (subtle shimmer):
Dark royal blue with almost no shimmer. This one also applies a bit patchy, but I believe this has great potential if used with a wet brush to line the upper lid.
Curvy Cami (sparkle):
This warm pinky plum color is so pretty, the micro-glitters really come through when swatched. It isn't super pigmented but works great over a similar colored base.
Jet-setting Jennifer (metallic):
This is a cool and subdued gold metallic. It is super soft and pigmented, I dig.
All About Alex:
A beautiful olive green. Again, super pigmented and soft, amazing to work with.
Easy Wheezie:
This is a gunmetal grey/silver. It, like several of the other shades in the palette, applies a bit patchy.
Below are the swatches of all the shades:
